2018 List of Favorites From Tri-Cities and Beyond

Throughout the year, I get to visit some of my all time favorite retailers in Tri-Cities, WA or shop online super stores to pick out my usual go tos. Sometimes I discover something new that I absolutely love. Here’s a list of my favorite must haves of the year. Enjoy!

Chocolate Truffles from Country Mercantile – They offer several chocolate and candy surprises from their in house chocolate factory. Hand made, these delightful treats are filling and super delicious. My favorite flavors are dark chocolate raspberry and dark chocolate mint. Pick out their pre packaged gifts of assorted truffles for stocking stuffers or gifts for coworkers and friends.

Bike from Greenies – Greenies can fix you up with a custom bike tailored to your environment. And they offer bike repair services and accessories. They are a one stop shop for seasoned bicyclists or those wanting to get started. Check out their bicycle apparel and shoes plus their recommendations for living that #greenielife.

Dessert from Frost Me Sweet – Stop in for lunch, close your eyes and point to anything on the menu and you’ll be in love. This intimate bistro offers a seasonal menu boasting fresh ingredients. Don’t dare leave without picking out a sweet treat made by their baking experts. My favorite is the S’mores bar. Enjoy one there and take one to go.

ColorStay Ultimate Suede Lipstick by Revlon – I want my lip color on my lips, not my wine glass! So I love Revlon ColorStay lipstick. My favorite shades are Ingenue 002 and Boho Chic 093. They go on easy and lasts after several tastes of wine + eating. Spend a day at work and then go out on the town without reapplying your lip color. Now that’s make up made easy. I pick up various colors from my local Target. You can also find at Amazon, Walgreens, CVS and other drug stores.

Sonos speakers – My Sonos is my new best friend. With Sonos, my favorite songs have never sounded so good. I love that these speakers are easy to install, come in various sizes and are controlled by my phone. I can play different music in different rooms with just a couple of taps on the app. Create the perfect atmosphere for a tasting room, business or at home since the sound quality fills the room.

Sanuk Women’s Yoga Mat Flip Flops – Want to feel like you are walking on pillows? Try Sanuk flip flops. I wear these when I’m shopping at the farmer’s market, boating, heading out to lunch or walking around the neighborhood. They are incredibly comfortable, easy to slip in and out of and sturdy. I keep a pair in my car and a pair in my closet for easy grabbing.

GoVino Wine Glasses – These plastic reusable glasses are perfect for enjoying wine in non glass friendly environments. Take them camping, boating or in the pool. The cool thumb rest makes the glass comfortable to hold on to and they come in a variety of sizes and styles made for your beverages of choice.

Dutch Oven – When I made a Moroccan Lamb Stew in my new Dutch Oven, I was sold on this new kitchen necessity. It transfers from stove top to oven to fridge and is easy to clean. It comes in beautiful bright colors. The Dutch Oven can be used for braising, frying and making soups. The possibilities are endless. What a perfect addition to the kitchen.

Royal House of Wraps – Once you wrap, you’ll never see hair the same again. My girlfriend, Nat became obsessed with wraps, so much so, she started her own business making and selling them. She sources material from London and Los Angeles in bold and vibrant patterns and colors. Once I saw how easy it was to wrap around my hair, I was eager to try it. I love how easy your look can change with a wrap, plus you can look amazing while disguising a bad hair day.

Laptop Tote – I needed a bag that could hold my laptop, iPad, wallet and notepad. It also had to have a little more space to double as a purse when needed. I found the EDODAY to be a great fit. I love the color and the size plus it has several pockets inside for pens, lipstick and my phone. I nabbed mine from Amazon.com.

Portobello By Inspire Mug – Get your mornings share of coffee or hot tea in this perfectly sized mug. Beautifully colored with an inspiring message to get your day off to a positive start these mugs are great to have at home or at the office. I was gifted one by a girlfriend and I enjoy morning and afternoon tea in it. Since my husband is also a fan, I nabbed another one at my local TJMaxx so he can have his own.

Yeti Rambler 10 oz Lowball – This vacuum insulated cup will keep your hot cocoa hot and your cocktail cold. I can enjoy the winter bonfire and have a consistently hot drink in hand. The rambler is dishwasher safe. I picked mine up from Ranch & Home.

Pop Socket – Taking a selfie has never been easier. The Pop Socket makes taking selfies and texting a one hand trick. Have fun customizing your Pop Socket for yourself or to gift to friends and family. The easy to stick clip stays in place in my car and keeps my phone in hands reach and easy to see for glancing at directions.

Hoody’s Organic Cashews – Warning, you can’t have just one. This sweet and salty crunchy snack satisfies the sweet tooth plus pairs nicely with a medium bodied white wine. I love grabbing a handful of these cashews with Frichette’s Semillon while watching a comedy or lighthearted movie. The easy to close container stores great and the size is enough to share with a small group or enjoy on your own.

Triple Cream Lover’s Tower – Imagine a gooey, velvet cheese party on your pallet. Well this is it. This cheese tower is a beautiful addition to your appetizer table and is delectable. All three cheeses pair amazingly well with sparkling wine. What a treat for your next celebration or holiday party.

The Lodge at Columbia Point – If I’m not at the winery, you can find me on a staycation at The Lodge at Columbia Point. Their cushy rooms boast a fireplace, soaking tubs (limited rooms) and up front and personal views of the Columbia River in Tri-Cities, WA. With an upscale restaurant and wine bar onsite, you don’t even need to leave the property. Relax at the firepit on the patio, soak in the outside hot tub and enjoy a facial at the intimate spa. If you are up for an adventure, check out a complimentary bicycle to cruise the boardwalk or meet up with Northwest Paddleboarding for an on river workout. For live music on a Saturday and great steaks, walk over to Budd’s Broiler or bike to The Bradley for tapas and craft cocktails. The Lodge is an easy walk or bicycle ride to eats and entertainment.

Thanks for reading. Off to shop for more of my favs!

Cheers!
