Au Revoir 2013! Hello 2014!

Although sad to leave our friends and our community, we were nervously excited about our journey as new Washingtonians. We were greeted by great neighbors, beautiful scenery and a hot summer. And we had lots of work ahead of us. After a few hundred hours of removing rock, planting grass, and installing irrigation we were starting to see our dream of opening a winery come to fruition.

Before Pic of Our Winery

At the beginning of August 2013, we bottled our 2011 vintage and then started the work of converting a pole barn into our winery and tasting room. After a few obstacles, do overs and new learnings, we were finally ready to open and share our wine the last weekend of September. This month, we celebrate being open four months! We are grateful for a community that has embraced us, a healthy family, and the opportunity to experience our dreams with our family. We are thrilled to have a growing wine club and excited about the opportunity to share our wines with members and enjoying the beauty of the Red Mountain AVA.

In 2014, we’re looking forward to sharing our wines and venue in the Red Mountain AVA with our guests by:

  1. Hosting events with live music

  2. Offer our space for small weddings and events

  3. Hosting Private Concierge Tastings

  4. Offer wine by the glass and light snacks (including hummus made from garbanzo beans from our family’s wheat ranch)

Our family is ecstatic about our future in the wine business in the Red Mountain AVA and the impact we hope to have on our economy and our community. We are excited to offer you fantastic wines, great hospitality, and host you in one of the most beautiful places in the Northwest. We hope you are enjoying a great start to the new year and we wish you health, happiness and lots of celebrations. From our family to yours…Cheers!
